How to Eliminate Saddlebags
The fatty areas on the sides of the butt and thighs are known as saddlebags. They are pockets of fat that usually affect women more than men, and they can be hard to eliminate. Although it takes hard work and dedication, it is possible to minimize your saddlebags so that your legs and butt appear smooth and tight. To get rid of them, however, you will have to lose fat all over your body because you can't lose fat in one area without losing it all over.

1
Walk on an elliptical machine for 30 minutes every other day with your toes pointed slightly out. It should feel as if you're walking like a duck.
-

Spend the other days walking backwards on an elliptical machine for 30 minutes. Try to walk backwards with toes still pointing out.
-
-
3
Lie down on the floor, then bring your legs straight up so your toes are pointing toward the ceiling.
-
4
Place the bottoms of your feet together, and keep them together through the remainder of the exercise.
-
5
Lower your legs so they are an inch off the floor, and then raise them back up to the original position. Repeat this movement 20 times each day.
-
6
Hold a 3-lb. weight in each hand.
-
7
Step out to the right side with your right foot. Bend your right knee as you do this, but keep your left leg straight. Both feet should be planted flat on the ground, and your toes should be pointing forward.

Bring the right foot back to the center, and then step out to the left side with the left foot. Bend the left knee, and keep the right foot straight. Go back to the center.

9
Complete 30 of these side lunges, 15 on the right and 15 on the left.
-
10
Stick to a diet that is 1,200 calories a day and is high in protein and low in fat. Sticking to a strict diet will keep less fat from being stored in the sides of your legs and butt.
