How to Make Easy Bathroom Curtains
Bathrooms tend to be more utilitarian than other rooms of the house, but a few key areas offer the perfect place to add a splash of color and personality; the window is one of them. Store-bought curtains provide an option, but if you want your bathroom to reflect your own unique aesthetic, repurpose some scarves as a quick and fun alternative. Does this Spark an idea?

1
Select a single scarf with a strong color or pattern that is roughly twice the width of the window. Pick out two matching scarves in neutral shades that are long enough to span the full height of the window. Choose scarves that complement your bathroom color scheme and design.
-
2
Open the scarves up fully and iron out any creases using an iron temperature appropriate for the fabric type.
-
-
3
Hang the curtain rings on the rod above the window. Use one for every 5 inches of fabric.
-
4
Clip the first neutral scarf to the rings starting from the outer edge. Do the same for the second scarf.
-
5
Tie one end of the accent scarf to the end of the curtain rod in a loose knot.
-
6
Drape the accent scarf across the top of the curtain rod so it obscures the clip rings.
-
7
Tie the other end of the accent scarf to the opposite side of the rod. Use the leftover fabric on either side of the accent scarf as curtain holdbacks, wrapping it around the fabric and tying it loosely.
