Viper is making sure that there are as many ways for you to access your vehicle as you need.

One of the features that Viper systems offer is remote vehicle start. Before making use of this feature, you must program your remote so that the system in your vehicle recognizes it. This is a two-stage process: first you must prime the system in the car and then pair the remote to the car system.

Instructions

  1. System

    • 1

Turn the vehicle's ignition to "On."

    • 2

Press, release then press and hold the "Control" button on the Viper system.

    • 3

Release the "Control" button when the system's LED begins to flash and the vehicle's horn honks once. You now have 60 seconds to pair the system with the remote control.

Press the remote start button (it looks like a circular arrow with dashes in the beginning) for one second and release. The transmit LED will flash three times.

    • 7
