Go to www.SweetHome3D.com and create a log in. If you want to save your work for later, you need to create a log in and password. If you are interested in just getting a feel for the software, skip this step.

Click "Online" from the top menu and wait for the software to load. This may take a few minutes if you have a slow computer.

Create your walls. Using the dimensions of your future kitchen, create the walls by clicking the wall button with a "+" sign.

Add your appliances and rearrange using the directional tools at the top. The appliances and the entire kitchen will appear below in 3D and in a birds eye view rendering.

Save your work regularly as not to lose anything.

Tips & Warnings
If you want to add additional appliances, you will have to download each one from the "3D Models" option under the "Support" menu on the sidebar. When in the 3D model mode, upload the items you just downloaded.
