How to Download Music to an I-Pod From Bearshare
Bearshare is a media software program which is used to download and play music files through your computer. Once installed, it automatically searches for and saves all audio files on your computer to its library. Using Bearshare to add songs to your iPod reduces the amount of time and effort spent searching for music files in your computer's hard drive. Through the Bearshare interface, you can also add music files from your computer directly to your iPod, without having to using additional media players such as iTunes or Windows Media Player.

Download Bearshare from Bearshare.com and follow the program's installation instructions.

Open Bearshare by double clicking on its icon on your desktop or in your computer's hard drive, depending on where you saved the program during installation.

Select "iPod/MP3 Player" from the menu on the left hand side of the interface, then plug your iPod into the computer. A new pop-up window will now appear.

Select "OK" in the pop-up window. The "iPod/Mp3 Player" category in the left hand menu will then be updated to show the name of your specific iPod.

Open "My Library" which is located in the top left hand corner of the interface. All audio files which are saved in your computer will appear on the screen.

Drag each music file and drop it on to your iPod's icon in the menu on the left hand side of the interface. Repeat this step until the songs you want to transfer have been added to your iPod.
