How to Play the Mastermind Flash Game
Mastermind is a flash-based computer game. The premise of the game is to attempt to crack the code created by the Mastermind. A two-player board game version of Mastermind was created in 1970, and has evolved into a popular online computer game.

Find the Mastermind game. There are multiple websites offering game play for free. Simply use a search engine to conduct a search for Mastermind. Make sure your computer is equipped with flash technology or you will be unable to play.

Try to break the code. Click on each of the colored balls to put them into the correct order. Continue clicking on each ball to change its color. You have five colors to choose from. After making your guess, click done to see if you were correct. If you choose the correct sequence and color order, you will have broken the code. You are only allowed 10 tries during each round of play.

Watch your clues. Pay attention to the white and black circles that appear as you take your guess on each row of balls. If you see a white clue appear, it indicates that you have chosen a correct color but have placed it in the wrong spot. A black clue shows that you have used a correct color in the correct place. For even more of a challenge, choose the "hard" difficulty level to play against a timer. You'll have 25 seconds to take each turn.
