Once you've set up your PC to read your cell phone's GPRS, you can use the Internet at your own convenience.

You don't need a modem on your computer to be able to access the Internet; you can do this via Bluetooth on your phone's GPRS, if your phone has Bluetooth capabilities. It will allow you to use the browse websites, check your emails, watch videos and listen to music on the Internet. Once you've configured a modem and set your computer modem default to search for your phone's Bluetooth, you'll be connected whenever it suits you.

      Right-click "My Network Places" and select "Properties" from the drop-down menu.

      Double-click "Make New Connection" icon "Network and Dial-up Connections." The Network Connection Wizard window should pop up.

      Click "Next" to continue select the "Dial-up to the Internet" option in the "Network Connection Type" section.

      Select the option to connect manually and click "Next."

      Select the option to connect through a phone line and modem and click "Next."

      Select "Don't Detect My Modem" and click "Next."

      Install your modem if you haven't already done this prior to this process. You can do this by browsing the list and selecting the manufacturer and model. Click "Next."

      Select the "COM" port and right-click the "Bluetooth" icon located in your computer's system tray. Select "Advanced Configuration."

      Click "Client Applications" tab. This will open the Bluetooth Serial Port.

      Click "Yes" to continue and "Finish" to complete the installation of your modem.

      Uncheck the "Use Area Code." This will enable you to dial the GPRS code using the default configuration code in the SIM card and click "Next."

      Enter in your username and password, if your carrier provided you with one, and click "Next."

      Name your connection and click "Next."

      Select "No" in the "Set Up Your Internet Mail Account" and click "Next."

      Click "Finish" to complete the process.

      Double-click on the icon you named in "Network and Dial-up Connections." The box should still be open. The icon will appear in your system tray and will turn green to indicate that it is dialing. You will receive a notification from the system tray when your connection is established.
