How to Repair Java SE
A common programming language developed primarily for Web applications, Java-based applications provide cross-platform compatibility with low memory requirements. For the home user, Java is primarily used for browser games, chat programs and online utilities. Corporate users will often need Java to run Web-based productivity applications with the capability to control the program from any computer in the world. Occasionally, a problem may occur with Java that prevents an application from functioning. Resetting Internet Explorer to factory settings and reinstalling Java is usually the best course of action to repair a problem.
