AutoCAD from AutoDesk is a computer-aided drafting and design tool whose applications vary widely from manufacturing to architecture. Learn AutoCAD online for free through such sites as myCADsite.com and CADTutor.com. Browse through the topics and levels on each site to find the information you want to learn more about. Many of the tutorials offer videos and animations to make the learning more visual. (See Resources.)

Purchase an AutoCAD training course online. Some of the courses include Ed2Go.com's AutoCAD 2007 online training program, CADDTrain.com's suite of online courses and courses in AutoCAD from Netwind Learning Center (which also offers DVD courses). Browse through AutoDesk's AutoCAD's training tools on its website. Some of the AutoDesk training resources are free. (See Resources.)

Hire a professional. Take an AutoCAD course from your local community college. Bring the training to you by hiring an AutoCAD trainer to teach you or your employees about AutoCAD.
