How to Open Spark Plug Wire Looms
Organizing spark plugs with wire looms reduces clutter in your vehicle's engine compartment and keeps spark plugs from contacting hot exhaust manifolds. The spark plug wires slide into the lower section of the wire loom. When the lower and upper sections of the wire loom connect, the spark plug wires cannot come loose. Opening the wire loom allows you access for changing spark plug wires and other engine components below the installed wires.
