How to Program the Infiniti G35 Smart Key

The Infiniti G35 smart keys are equipped with a digital chip that communicates with the computer in the car. The key includes remote control functions for the keyless entry system as well. To program the chips within the key as well as the keyless entry remote, it is tempting to take the car to a dealership and pay a large labor fee for the process. You can program the system at home in minutes.
Step 1
Sit in the driver seat of your G35. Close all of the car doors. Insert the key into the ignition then remove it. Repeat this process six times within 10 seconds. Watch for the emergency lights to flash on the car to indicate that programming mode is active.
Step 2
Insert the key into the ignition and turn it to "ACC." Push and release the "Lock" or "Unlock" button.
Step 3
Unlock the car doors then lock them again using the switch on the driver door panel if you have additional remotes to program. Press the "Lock" or "Unlock" button on the additional remote.
Step 4
Open the driver door. Turn the key to "OFF" and remove it from the ignition.
