The wiper blades of the Mazda use a metal clip system to hold the blades onto the windshield wiper arm. The easiest and most cost efficient method of repairing the windshield wiper is to replace the wiper blades. You can replace the windshield wiper blades yourself in just a few minutes.

Instructions

    • 1

      Lift the Mazda wiper blade arm up away from the windshield in order to replace the windshield wiper blade.

      Locate the metal clip in the center of the wiper blade and lift the clip up with a screwdriver.

    • 3

      Pull the wiper blade out away from the windshield wiper arm by hand so the blade comes loose of the metal pin on the arm.

      Slide the new windshield wiper blade over the metal pin on the arm the same way the old blade came off the arm.

      Clamp the metal clip down over the new windshield wiper by hand to lock the blade into position.

    • 6

      Repeat steps 1 through 5 with the second windshield wiper blade in order to complete the repair process.
