How do I Convert Audio to Text or Image?
To convert an audio file to a text file, you can type the words in the audio file into a text file as you listen. However, speech-to-text software programs can significantly shorten the time it takes to convert an audio file to a text file. After you make any editing or formatting changes to the text file, you can save the file as an image by scanning it.

1
Type the audio file as you listen to it. This may take some time, depending on its length and complexity. To save time, use a speech-to-text program to automatically capture the words from the audio file as text. When you use the program, play the file through speakers instead of speaking in your own voice.

2
Save the file as a word processing document, and make any necessary changes. If you want to convert the file to an image file, print the document, and go to the next step.

3
Scan the document by using a scanner. Your scanner will prompt you to save the document as an image in any of several formats that use the .bmp, .tif, or .jpg file extensions.
