Sunbeam Electric Blanket Installation Instructions
Sunbeam electric blankets offer 10 heat settings, machine-washable and dryer-safe fabric, and come in twin, full, queen or king sheet sizes. In addition to added warmth in the cold months, electric blankets can also save on heating bills. Lay out the Sunbeam electric blanket flat on the mattress so that the label is face-up at the end of the bed. Stretch out all four corners of the blanket so that each corner of the bed is occupied.

Plug in the electric cord to the blanket's module, located to the left of the label at the foot of the bed. Listen for a click on the plastic hinges to ensure the blanket's module is connected, or fire may result.

Run the electric cord underneath the bed, taking it out on the left or right side of the bed so that one of the cord's controls rests on the upper left or right side of the head of bed. Keep the control on a nightstand or bedside table for easy access from the bed.

Run the second control's cord, which is attached to the first control, behind the head of the bed to the opposite side of the bed. Place the second control on a nightstand or bed table for easy access.

Plug in the polarized plug to a wall outlet. Make sure that the plug is securely plugged into the wall outlet to avoid a loose connection.

Tips & Warnings
If you have only one bedside control with your Sunbeam electric blanket, the control can be placed on either side of the bed.
Do not run the length of the electric cord between the mattress and the box spring. Do not plug the electric cord into the wall until the electric blanket has been installed on the bed. Always detach the electric module from the blanket before unplugging the Sunbeam electric blanket from the wall. Do not allow electric blanket controls to become wedged or tangled between furniture or walls. Never plug in a Sunbeam electric blanket to an electric generator.
