Digital phone packages allow you to have caller ID on your home TV.

With the advancements in technology over the past few years, we have seen many companies incorporate multiple electronic devices to work together. Many cable providers now offer digital phone options that integrate your phone and TV. Time Warner Cable is one of the cable providers that offers a digital phone integration into your home TV interface. Having Time Warner Cable's digital phone option on your TV will make answering phone calls much easier.

Turn on your caller ID. One digital phone feature Time Warner Cable offers is caller ID. Call ID on your TV displays the number and name of who is calling you on your TV. To turn on your caller ID option, press the "A" button on your remote control, then "caller ID," then the option to turn it on. Hit enter and you will see an image on your screen that reads "Call Alert On." Now, when someone calls you, the phone information will appear on your TV screen.

Use three-way calling. Time Warner's digital phone package also allows you to use three-way calling, talking to two others at the same time. To access three-way calling, press the flash button while on the phone with someone. This will place the person you are talking to on hold. Then dial another telephone number and press the flash button again. Once the third person answers, the three of you can talk at the same time.

Activate anonymous call reject. If you do not want to receive anonymous calls, you have the ability to block them with Time Warner Cable's digital phone package. To do so, dial *77 into your phone and wait for the confirmation tone. Once you hear the tone, your phone will prevent all unidentified calls from reaching your phone or the caller ID function on your TV.
