Lift the handset to begin programming the DBS phone.

Panasonic Digital Business System (DBS) phones can be programmed to meet your individual needs. You can program feature buttons for quick access to paging, voice mail, call forwarding and message waiting. One-touch buttons can store speed-dial numbers and provide one-touch access to other extension numbers within your office.

Instructions

  1. Program the Buttons

    • 1

      Press the "On/Off" button or lift handset.

    • 2

      Press the "Prog" (program) button.

    • 3

      Press the one-touch button to be programmed. If your system uses multiple central office (MCO) lines, which are outside lines you share on your phone system with another tenant, press "Auto," "*" and "#" before proceeding.

      Enter the extension number using the phone keypad.

    • 5

      Press "Hold" to confirm the entry.

    • 6

      Press "On/Off" or replace the handset to end programming.

    Check the Programming

    • 7

      Press "On/Off" or lift the handset.

    • 8

      Press the "Conf" (conference) button.

    • 9

      Press any one-touch button to see the programmed extension number on the phone's display.

    • 10

      Press "On/Off" or replace handset to end programming.

Tips & Warnings

  • Your phone administrator should be able to tell you if your system operates with MCO lines.

  • If you make a mistake while programming, press "On/Off" and start over.

  • A phone with a display screen is required to check the programming on one-touch buttons.
