How to Install an Olympus Digital Voice Recorder

It is possible to directly install an Olympus digital voice recorder on your computer system.

The Olympus digital voice recorder is a hand held device you can take with you and use to record audio at any time. Once the audio is recorded you are able to play back the sound at any time through the device, or you can directly sync up the recorder to a computer. However, in order to sync up and install the Olympus digital voice recorder on your computer you do need to follow some specific instructions.

• USB data cable

Instructions

1. Plug the provided USB data cable into the USB connection port on the Olympus digital voice recorder.

2. Connect the opposite end of the USB cable into a USB connection port on the computer system.

3. Power on the Olympus digital voice recorder. The computer states it has detected a new removable device.

4. Click "Start," "(My) Computer," then double-click the removable device icon. A window loads onto the screen with all of the recorded audio tracks listed. From here you are able to import the information onto your computer by clicking-and-dragging the audio files onto the desktop.
