How to Install mfc71.dll

The "mfc71" library comes as part of the Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 runtime. When you install a program that requires this runtime, it looks for MFC71.dll. If it does not find this file, it reports an error saying that it has not been found, aborting the installation. Microsoft presents this runtime library on its own website as a downloadable installer package.

      Click the first link in Resources and wait for the download of the Visual C++ 2008 runtime to begin. Choose the directory where you'd like to save your file.

      Browse to your file's directory and double-click it.

      Click "Next" and continue following the installation instructions until you get a "Finish" button and click it.

      Restart your computer.
