How to Remove Hair With Home Products
Laser hair removal or surgical alternatives are not always options for people, whether it be due to cost, required downtime or even sensitive skin. For those people, however, it is still possible to removed unwanted hair with regular, household items. A combination of these methods might work best, or you may only need to use one to see results. Things You'll Need
- Lemon juice
- Water
- Sugar
- Tongue depressor
- Egg white
- Corn flour
- 1-inch wide cotton strips
- Pumice stone
Instructions

Lemon Hair Removal Mixture

Mix equal parts lemon juice and water to sugar until you have a thick paste.

Spread the paste evenly over unwanted hair using a tongue depressor.

Rinse off the paste after 15 minutes. Repeat daily until you achieve desired results.
Egg White Hair Removal Mixture

Beat one egg white with 1½ teaspoons of corn flour and 3 teaspoons of sugar.

Apply the paste onto unwanted hair. Once the paste dries, peel it off.

Repeat daily until you achieve desired results.
Sugar Hair Removal Mixture

Cook 2 cups of sugar, ¼ cup of water and ¼ cup of lemon juice in a saucepan until the mixture is smooth. Let it cool.

Spread the mixture onto unwanted hair with a tongue depressor.

Press 1-inch-wide strips of sturdy cotton onto the sugar mixture and let the strips dry and harden.

Pull off the strips gently in the opposite direction of the hair. Repeat at least two more times.

Wash the area daily using pumice stone until hair is completely removed.

Tips & Warnings
Reheat unused sugar wax by placing it into a pot of boiling water until the wax has softened.
Consult a physician about excessive hair growth to determine if it's related to an underlying medical condition.
