How to Monitor Internet Usage at Home
As a parent, you may concerned about how your children are using the Internet. The Internet can be a great learning tool, but there is also content on the Internet that you may not want your children viewing. If you suspect your children may be gaining access to such content, you may wish to monitor their Internet usage while at home. This can be done by periodically checking their browser history.

Double click the "Internet Explorer" icon on your computers desktop to open "Internet Explorer." You can also find the icon in the "Start" menu.

Press the "Control" key and the "H" key on your keyboard at the same time. This will open the "History" window on the left side of your screen.

Click the date in the window to view the Internet usage for that day.

To view the exact time a website was viewed, right click the site in the History window and choose "Properties."
