How to Embed Objects in PowerPoint

How to Embed Objects in PowerPoint thumbnail
Powerpoint is an excellent program to use to send multiple files.

PowerPoint files are often created for presentations and slide shows. The PowerPoint feature that lets you embed objects on slides allows you to include additional photos, videos and sound clips inside the PowerPoint file. You can save time by sending one combined PowerPoint file created by embedding objects instead of sending multiple files to email recipients.

Instructions

    • 1

Click the location where you wish to place your embedded object.

    • 2

Navigate to the "Insert" menu located in the upper left of PowerPoint.

    • 3

      Select "Object."

    • 4

Select "New," then click "OK." An "Object Type" box will open.

    • 5

Click the object you wish to embed from the "Object Box." If you wish the object to be displayed as an icon, check the "Display as Icon" box.
