Instructions

  1. Making Your Race Car

    • 1

Take off the plastic from the box covering of your tissue box. Be sure not to damage the box in the process.

    • 2

Use the sharpened pencil to stab through the box to poke four holes where the wheel axle will go. Poke two holes near the front and the back of both of the long sides of the box.

    • 3

Insert one of the unsharpened pencils into each newly poked holes. Make sure to wiggle the pencils around a little bit so as to open the holes a bit more so the pencils can move freely when the wheels are turning.

    • 4

Put a small sized dot of hot glue on the inner part of one of the bottle caps. Stick the bottle cap onto the unsharpened pencil. Hold the bottle cap onto the pencil firmly. Repeat this process three times with the remaining bottle caps.

    • 5

Glue the remaining bottle cap to the front of the opening on the box to act as a steering wheel.

    • 6

Paint interesting designs onto your car. If you're seeking a more classic look, paint racing stripes on the sides of your car. It may also be fun to paint the wheels black to make them look like a real car.

    • 7

Make multiple cars so you can have races across a hard wood floor in your home.
