How to Add More Files to a Burning CD in Windows Media Player thumbnail
Burn CDs with your favorite music tracks using Windows Media Player.

Windows Media Player is standard media management software offered by Microsoft Windows. Media Player allows you to manage your media library by creating playlists for songs, videos and audio books, or burning media to a CD. Choose to burn CDs containing a mixture of your favorite songs for playback in your car or portable CD player. Once you choose the option to create a "Burn Playlist," you can add songs to your CD from your music library before beginning your CD burn.

Instructions

    • 1

Select "Library" on the main menu bar.

    • 2

Highlight the media files you want to add.

    • 3

Drag each song to the "Burn Playlist" in the right menu pane. Review your list to confirm all items have been added in the order you want them to play.

    • 4

      Click "Burn."

Tips & Warnings

  • Use CD-R discs rather than CD-RW if you are burning a music CD.
