How to Do a Windows Live Search for People
Microsoft's online search engine, Bing, has had several previous names, including Windows Live Search, Live Search and MSN Search. But whatever name it goes by, you can use Microsoft's search engine to look for information on people.

1
Compile the information you have on the person you are searching for. It helps to have a full and correct name. For instance, someone you know as "Skip" may have a very different actual first name.
Other information, such as an address, schools attended, spouse's name, place of work, notable accomplishments, books written or other identifying facts about the person, also can be helpful in your search.

2
Visit www.bing.com, the name Microsoft uses for the search engine it used to call Windows Live Search.
-
-
3
Enter the person's name in the search box, and click the magnifying glass icon to begin a search.
-
4
Examine the search results. Bing will return results from social media sites such as Facebook and Linked In, as well as general results from an Internet-wide search. You may find information on the person with just this one search.
-
5
Include additional search terms if the initial search was not fruitful. Use the information you compiled to add search terms one by one. For example, add "UCLA" if you know that's the college the person attended, or include the spouse's name in the search, if available.

6
Click the "Images" tab to try your search on pictures as well.
