Running a website business gives you the freedom to work for yourself from home or any other location. By selling products or services online, you can potentially reach millions of customers each day. However, starting up a website can be costly. For those just beginning the process, several web hosts offer free subdomains that allow you to set up your website business at no cost. Once your business is up and running, you can choose to upgrade later to your own website domain.

Navigate to WebStarts.com and click "Sign Up". Enter the name of your business in the "title" field, and a URL address in the "subdomain" field. The title and subdomain can be, but do not have to be, the same. Choose a URL address that will be easy for customers to remember and associate with your business. Enter a username, password and email address to register.

Click the "Category" dropdown box and select a category that best fits your business. Select one of the templates from the options WebStarts offers; you can change templates later if desired.

Click the boxes in your template to add text and pictures. Drag and drop the boxes within the template to organize it the way you want. Add other pages, such as "Contact Us" or "Special Deals", by clicking "Add Page" and entering a name for the page. On each page, you can drag the boxes around in a different order and add content. Click "File" and select "Save and Publish" when you are finished.
