Receive wireless Internet on your Dell D620.

The Dell D620 is a laptop that comes standard with a built-in switch to activate Wi-Fi capabilities. Before you deal with turning the wireless switch on, you must contact your service provider to set up Internet service. Other settings depend on your wireless router and modem.

Instructions

1. Find the Wi-Fi switch on the left side of the laptop.

2. Slide the switch towards you into the "Momentary" position for about five seconds. This allows the system to begin looking for wireless networks.

3. Slide the switch to the "On" position with the vertical line.
