How to Synchronize Web Pages
Synchronizing web pages is a way to manage your website content so that you can organize and classify websites as bookmarks or favorites and make web pages available for viewing offline. You will be viewing content that is published at the time of the synchronizing, which may not necessarily be the most up-to-date content available; however, you can access this without being connected to the internet. The process for synchronizing on Macs and PCs is very similar, but they use different terms in some cases.

For PCs

Identify the web pages that you want to synchronize. Go to the websites and click "Add to Favorites" for each page or website that you want to sync to.

Choose Internet Explorer as your Internet browser. On the "Favorites" menu, click "Organize Favorites."

Click the web page you want to make available offline. Click the "Make Available Offline" check box to select it, then click "Close."

Select the "Only when I choose Synchronize from the Tools menu" option that enables you to manually synchronize your Web pages.

Click "Synchronize" on the "Tools" menu before you disconnect from the Internet. Wait until the process is complete.

When you want to work offline, click "Work Offline" on the "File" menu to add a check mark. In your favorites list, click the offline web page you want to view.
For Macs

Identify the web pages that you want to synchronize. Go to the websites and create a bookmark for each page or website that you want to sync to. Make this one of your "Top Sites" so that you can easily select them all with one check box.

Choose Safari as your Internet browser. Click "Preferences" under the "Safari" tab. Click "Bookmarks."

Find the check box option for MobileMe at the bottom of your menu. Select "Synchronize bookmarks using MobileMe."

Create a MobileMe account to enable synchronization. To synchronize your bookmarks on your other devices, you need a MobileMe account. If you have a MobileMe account, click "Set Up" to turn on syncing.

Click "Set Up" in the dialog box that appears. Enter your MobileMe name and password if you are prompted to do so. Click "Sync."

Select "Synchronize with MobileMe." Select "Bookmarks" and click "Sync Now." Wait until the process is complete, then review to make sure that all your desired web pages and bookmarks have been synced.
