How Do I Clean Fly Ash From Metal?
Fly ash is residue that is left after coal has been burnt in a boiler to produce electricity, according to the Environmental Protection Agency. The ash closely resembles the color and consistency of fine sawdust as it piles on the boiler room floors. This ash can leave a residue on metal surfaces that you can clean with an abrasive cleaner. Do not use heavily abrasive cleaners on stainless steel surfaces as they will likely cause scratches in the metal. Does this Spark an idea?
