How to Repair My Acer Aspire 3000 Computer

The Acer Aspire 3000 laptop computer weighs in at about 7 pounds and runs on the AMD Sempron 3000 processor. This makes the Aspire 3000 good for surfing the Internet and writing text documents. When it breaks down, you need to restore it to a different time when it did not have any problems. This can be done by using the System Restore program built into the Aspire 3000's operating system.

Instructions

1. Click the Aspire 3000's "Start" button in the bottom left corner. Move to "Accessories," then "System Tools." Left-click "System Restore" to open the operating system's program.

2. Select the restore the computer to another date option.

3. Look through System Restore's calendar for a date when the Aspire 3000 worked without incident. Click on the date and press "Next," then "OK" on the next screen to reset the Aspire 3000.

Tips & Warnings

• All of the saved files you have on your Aspire 3000 will not be removed.

• Some programs will have to be reinstalled--mainly ones that have been installed recently.
