How to Share a Network Over Bluetooth

Connecting a Bluetooth device to your network for sharing purposes, such as with a Bluetooth printer, allows everyone on your network to use a device without adding additional cumbersome wires to your network setup. Accomplish this by interfacing the target device to any of your network computers using the Bluetooth tools in your computer's operating system.

Instructions

    • 1

Turn on the Bluetooth device and move it near the computer.

    • 2

Click "Start" and type "Bluetooth Devices" into the "Search" box. Press "Enter."

    • 3

      Click "Add."

    • 4

Select your device from the list and follow the onscreen prompts to connect it to the network.
