How to Open YENC Files

YENC files are binary files that have been converted to text through the yEnc encoding method, according to FileInfo.com. The yEnc encoding method provides efficient transmission of files that are sent over Usenet or by email, according to Filext.com. There are several computer programs that will open YENC files, including Smith Micro Stufflt Deluxe 2010, yDec, yEnc32, and yProxy Pro.
