Instructions for Changing a Waste Toner Receptacle on a Canon LR3750

The Canon IR 3570 is a digital copier that is capable of being configured as a copier, printer, fax machine and network scan device. It uses "monocomponent" toner, meaning that the developer is mixed in with the toner. The 3570 has a toner collection system that collects all unused toner and stores it into the waste toner collection bottle. After a while, this bottle must be emptied. When the bottle is full, a warning message appears on the touch-screen display.

Instructions

1. Open the waste panel; located in the rear of the machine on the left-hand side, this panel is secured by two screws. Unscrew and remove these screws and remove the panel.

2. Remove the waste toner bottle. The bottle twists off and can be pulled out from the machine.

3. Slide the new bottle into place, then twist it into the locked position.
