How to Unlock Verizon WiFi
Your Verizon Wireless cell phone more than likely has a built-in Wi-Fi receiver, allowing you to access the Internet on the phone. But this function isn't automatically on, so you must unlock the Wi-Fi receiver on the phone if you want to gain access to a nearby wireless network.

Turn on the phone and press the "Menu" option (the exact method may differ slightly, depending on the cell phone make and model).

Select the "Wi-Fi" option, then choose "On." Wait a moment, and a list of all the nearby wireless Internet connections appears on the screen.

Select the Wi-Fi network you wish to join, then type in the access code (when required).

Press "OK." The Verizon Wireless Internet connection is unlocked, and you are granted access to the Wi-Fi network.
