The front bumper on a Chevy Blazer is the metal beam going across the lower front end of the frame. There are commonly 4 bolts holding the front bumper onto the frame. You will need a ratchet set to remove the bolts that are holding the front bumper to the frame. You will not be needing a car jack to lift the front end, however, because the Chevy Blazer is high enough that you can slide under the frame to get to the inner side of the bumper.

Step 1

Park the Chevy Blazer on a flat surface and set the parking brake.

Step 2

Slide under the front end of the Chevy Blazer and locate the bolts securing the front bumper to the frame. There are 2 bolts on the left and 2 bolts on the right, one on top of the other.

Step 3

Remove the lower bolts from the right and left sides of the front bumper. Have your helper hold the front bumper tightly so that when you remove the next set of bolts the front bumper won't fall on you.

Step 4

Remove the upper bolt on the right and left side of the bumper. With your helper, pull the front bumper off of the frame and set it down on a clean surface.
