How to Set Up Voicemail on AT&T Wireless

AT&T Wireless customers can set up and change their voicemail and related options from their cell phones. AT&T users can also enable security features for their voicemail. To prevent others from listening to your voicemail, you can create a password that will have to be entered whenever the voicemail is accessed. Setting up a password is completely optional. When creating a password for your voicemail, be sure that it is something unique but is also a password that you can remember.

Instructions

1. Power on the AT&T Wireless cell phone.

2. Press and hold down the "1" key on the wireless phone keypad.

3. Follow the prompts to create a password (optional) and greeting. The password can be any random four- to 14-digit password.
