How to Download Emoticons for MSN
An emoticon attempts to improve text interpretation by delivering an emotional image. The intention is to make the conversation as realistic as possible by representing the writer's facial expression or mood. MSN Messenger has a number of emoticons that you can insert into a conversation, which helps to make chatting more enjoyable and interactive. Downloading these emoticons is relatively simple when visiting the appropriate website.

-
10
Specify a keyboard shortcut for the emoticon in the respective field. However, it is better not to use single letter or number for the emoticon like "2" or "g." If you give it a single character, every time you write a word with "g" or "2" in it, you will see the emoticon instead of the character. Instead use a combination of two or more characters like "#3" or "!@", which do not have any meaning when written otherwise.
-
11
Click "OK" to save the emoticon.
