How to Change Ink on a Lipman Nurit 8000

Imperfect printing can be a sign that your ink needs to be changed.

The Lipman Nurit 8000 is a convenient credit card processing machine that does not tie up the business' phone line while processing credit card information. Instead, the Lipman Nurit uses the AT&T wireless network to process this information and prints a receipt directly from the machine. After prolonged use, the Lipman Nurit will run out of ink and the ink will need to be changed. By following a few steps, this can be done quickly and easily.

Things You'll Need

• New ink ribbon

Instructions

1. Turn the Lipman Nurit 8000 off by pressing and holding the power button for three seconds.

2. Open the machine by pressing the release button on the side of the machine. Lift the cover of the machine up to expose the old ink ribbon.

3. Press the release button next to the ink ribbon. Slide the ink ribbon out of the machine.

4. Open the package containing the new ink ribbon and remove it from the packaging.

5. Place the new ink ribbon into the machine making sure to line the arrows on the ink ribbon line up with the arrows on the machine. Press down on the ink ribbon to lock it into place.

6. Close the cover of the machine.

Tips & Warnings

• Do not touch the actual ink ribbon, but only the ink cartridge.
