How to Use Crest Whitestrips Premium

Brushing your teeth with water only before applying Whitestrips. This will prepare the tooth surface for contact with the whitening agent.

Floss to remove any particles between teeth. Allow five minutes after brushing and flossing to pass before using the whitening product, as gum irritation may otherwise occur.

Open the box to reveal 28 whitening strips and a small mirror situated in the lid. Remove one strip packet labelled "Upper" and open it to reveal the strip.

Position yourself in front of a mirror, either the one contained in the package or a bathroom mirror, and slowly peel the strip from the backing.

Position the strip about two inches in front of your teeth and center it both horizontally and vertically. The strip should be aligned so that the top of the strip is even with the gumline and the sides of the strip are equal distances from the center of the mouth.

Place the whitening strip on your teeth. Press gently along the strip to ensure good contact. If the strip slips or moves, very gently guide the strip back to its original position. Make sure the strip always stays in contact with your teeth evenly. Don't press too firmly on the strip, as this may cause the whitening agent to distribute unevenly.

Remove a strip marked "Lower" and repeat steps 4 through 6 for your bottom teeth.

Leave the strips on your teeth for 30 minutes. You may participate in normal activities during this time. When the time is up, peel the strips from your teeth and dispose of them, as they are not reusable. Gently brush your teeth or rinse with water or mouthwash to remove the gel left behind from the strips. Eating and drinking is acceptable immediately after using the strips, although staying away from staining food or drink is strongly recommended for two hours. Repeat all steps a second time later in the day and continue this routine for seven days.

Tips & Warnings
Staying away from items that are known to stain teeth, such as coffee, tea, red wine and cigarette smoke, will make any whitening procedure more effective.
It is not necessary to wear both the top and the bottom strip at the same time.
Do not use Crest Whitestrips Premium if you have large cavities or braces.
Leaving the strips on for more than the recommended 30 minutes may cause increased tooth sensitivity.
Discontinue use if you notice more than slight gum irritation or tooth sensitivity.
Do not use other whitening agents while using this product.
