How to Make Your Own Kids Party Bags
Party bags are like a child's gift to his or her birthday party guests. However, they can be a hassle for you as the child's parent, since you have to decide what kind of party bags to have and what to put in them. For colorful party bags your child's guest friends will enjoy, make your own simple design. You can arrange the cut-out shapes on a table for the children to decorate the bags during the party.

1
Buy white paper bags with handles from your local craft store. Make sure to get at least one for each child on the guest list.
-
2
Draw shapes on colored construction paper. Hearts, stars, flowers and kites are simple and familiar to children. Make the shapes small enough to fit several on one side of one of the paper bags, and that you have enough to decorate both sides of each bag.

3
Cut out the shapes. Glue shapes to each side of the bags.

4
Fill the bags with small party gifts for the children. You can include small boxes of raisins, homemade cookies, yo-yos or crayons, for example. Make sure to make the contents of each bag identical to avoid arguments at the party.
