How to Get Optimum WiFi

Optimum Wi-Fi is a free service for all Optimum customers.

Optimum customers can obtain Internet access in their homes by signing up for Optimum Internet or the "Optimum Triple Play." Optimum customers also can connect to the Internet outside of their home though Optimum Wi-Fi community zones. Using Optimum Wi-Fi is free for all Optimum customers, regardless of how many times you use the service. After signing in for the first time, your Optimum Wi-Fi account is automatically set up.

Instructions

1. Turn the device on.

2. Go to the "Internet Connections" portion of the device. For example, those using an iPod Touch will press "Settings" and then choose the "Wi-Fi" option.

3. Choose the "optimumwifi" option. A sign-in screen appears.

4. Enter your Optimum ID information on the sign-in screen.

5. Select "Remember Me" if you want the device to automatically sign in to Optimum Wi-Fi. Otherwise, skip to the next step.

6. Choose "Sign In." The device is signed in to Optimum Wi-Fi.

Tips & Warnings

• Your device will be signed off of Optimum Wi-Fi as soon as you leave the "Optimum Wi-Fi community zone."

• You only can use Optimum Wi-Fi if you are an Optimum customer and have an Optimum Online account.
