How to Install Altec Lansing ACS44 Speakers
Altec Lansing ACS44 computer speakers are a 2.1-powered speaker system, consisting of a subwoofer and two main speakers--right and left. They're appropriate for a computer system's video, music and gaming applications, and are quite easy to set up with your computer.

Unpack the speakers and place the subwoofer below the computer. Place the speakers on either side of the monitor.

Plug the cable with the green-colored mini-jack into the speaker output of your computer. This is color-coded green and is on the back of a desktop or tower, and on the side of a laptop.

Plug the wire connected to the right speaker into the jack marked "R" on the subwoofer.

Plug the wire connected to the left speaker into the jack marked "L" on the subwoofer.

Plug the power cable connected to the subwoofer into a wall outlet or power strip.

Turn the power switch on the right speaker on and set the volume.
