How to Use Yahoo Video Conferencing thumbnail
Yahoo! video conferencing on Yahoo! messenger requires a webcam such as this one.

Yahoo! Messenger is a way to talk to your friends through web camera chatting, chatting using a microphone which is a lot like calling them on the phone, and typing messages back and forth. Video conferencing is another way to chat using a web cam and is free for everyone to use. During a conference, you can invite an unlimited number of people to chat using a microphone or webcam (or the traditional way, by typing) in a chat room type setting.
