How to Remove Nail Varnish From Carpet
Nail polish, or varnish, is a lacquer applied to toenails and fingernails to color, shine or protect them. The polish dries quickly and has to be applied carefully to ensure a clean look. Women often paint their toenails and fingernails in the convenience of their bedrooms or living rooms. Things You'll Need
- Nail polish remover
- Spoon or knife
- Paper towels
- Liquid dishwashing soap

Blot up any fresh and wet nail varnish stains with a paper towel. Gently apply pressure to the paper towel as you blot the stain. Do not rub, as this will cause the stain to work its way further into the carpet.

Scrape a dried nail polish stain using a spoon or knife. Try to scrape as much of the polish out of the carpet using the edge of the utensil.

Moisten a paper towel with nail polish remover.

Blot the polish with the moistened tool. Reapply polish remover and continue to blot as needed until the stain is completely removed.

Apply a small amount of dishwashing liquid (size of a dime) to a paper towel moistened with water.

Gently blot the carpet with the soap-moistened cloth to clean the area.

Blot the carpet with a dry paper towel to remove any excess moisture.
