How to Add a Wiimote to My Bluetooth Places
The controller for your Nintendo Wii, called a Wiimote, uses Bluetooth technology to send information to the Wii console. Since this Bluetooth is the same technology that you will find on your computer, you can connect your Wiimote to your computer and have it show up in the "My Bluetooth Places" window. Before the Wiimote will show up, you need to go through a pairing process to allow the computer and Wiimote to discover and communicate with each other.

Tips & Warnings
While Windows XP can find and connect to your Wiimote, it lacks the software to interpret the signals from the controller. In order to use the Wiimote with a software program, you will need to install a Bluetooth software package such as BlueSoleil, GlovePIE or Smoothboard.
