How to Sync a Samsung MP3 Player

Sync your Samsung MP3 player to your computer to add music to the MP3 player.

An MP3 player is a device used for storing, organizing and playing audio files. Samsung produces a wide array of MP3 players, with prices ranging from $40 to $300. In order for you to add MP3 files to your player you will need to sync it with your computer from time to time. This will allow you to download music to your computer from the Internet and transfer it to your player.

Instructions

1. Launch your Windows Media Player. In your computer, click on "Start," "All Programs" and select "Windows Media Player."

    

2. Plug-in your Samsung MP3 player. Attach one end of your USB cable to the MP3 player and the other end to a USB connector on your computer. Your MP3 player will then appear on the right corner of your Windows Media Player interface as a connected device.

3. Sync MP3 Player with computer. On the upper right corner of the Windows Media Player interface, click on the "Sync" tab. The syncing process between your MP3 player and your personal computer will start. You can see the progress on the screen. It will usually take between 5 to 15 minutes for the sync to complete, depending on how many files you have.

4. Listen to your updated songs. Once all files have been synced to your MP3, close the Windows Media Player, and disconnect your MP3 player from the computer. You may now listen to the new additions in your audio list.
