How to Repair Flexon Eyeglass Frames

Things You'll Need
- Eyeglasses repair kit
- Magnifying glass
- Needle nose pliers
- Paper towels
- Toothpick
- Fast drying clear glue

Inspect your frames with a magnifying glass. You may know what the problem is with your frames but you may find another issue you with close inspection. A loose screw that isn't causing any problems now may be a huge issue in just a few days.

Use the screw driver in the eyeglasses kit to tighten or replace any missing screws. Don't worry if you have lost a screw from your frames. Repair kits come with spares.

Use a pair of needle nose pliers to bend the frame back in shape. This is extremely unlikely with Flexon glasses but it is still a tactic you should know in case it happens. You need to cover the tips of the pliers with a soft material like a piece of paper towel to prevent damage to your frames.

Use a toothpick and fast-drying, clear glue to fasten a broken hinge when it falls off. Apply a small dab of glue with a tooth pick onto the hinge and quickly place it on your glasses. Hold the hinge in place until the glue sets, and then replace any screws you may have lost.

Apply fast-drying clear glue to refasten an ear piece that has fallen off the end of the frame. The ear piece is that soft covering on the part of the frame that wraps around your ears.
