How to Convert Pi2 to JPG
A .pi2 file is a raster image format used for high-resolution images associated with the Portrait Innovations program. A .jpg file is a common raster image format, storing image data as points. A .pi2 image can be converted to .jpg format using an appropriate application.

Using XnView

Download, install, and run XnView (free, see Resources section). This program can open and convert between many graphics format. Free versions exist for both Windows, Macintosh, and Linux operating systems, among others.

Navigate to the folder containing the .pi2 file you wish to convert in the explorer pane on the left side of the program, and select the individual .pi2 file on the viewing pane of the program.

Click the "Convert" button. In the window that opens, select the output file type and location, choose the .jpg output format, then click "Ok."
Using Konvertor

Download, install, and run Konvertor (free trial, see Resources section). Click "Ok" to start the free trial. This application is meant to be a "universal" viewer and converter of file formats. It can display and convert .pi2 files to jpg. It also contains image filters and resizing tools to customize your conversion.

Navigate to and select the folder containing .pi2 file you wish to convert in the explorer frame on the left side of the program window. Select the individual picture file you wish to convert in the viewing pane on the right of the program.

Click the "Convert" button. In the window that opens, select the output file location, .jpg target format, and click "Ok" to complete the conversion.

Have you actually tried this tactic? Portrait Innovations (PI2) files are encrypted formats, not to be confused with the Atari/DEGAS format (also PI2), and cannot simply be converted using these programs. Even if you could convert these, it would likely be a copyright violation to do so.
