How to Turn a Linksys Laptop Card Into a Desktop Card

A Linksys laptop card is a wireless PCMCIA card that allows a laptop to connect to a wireless network. It is called a laptop card because only laptops have internal PCMCIA ports, but you can use an adapter to connect the Linksys card to a desktop computer. As with the laptop, the Linksys card, working through the adapter, allows the desktop computer to connect to a wireless network.
