How to Assemble Frames for Beekeeping
Building a modern hive assures the beekeeper of being able to inspect the hive for health and for easier extraction of honey. A hive consists of numerous parts, including the stand, a bottom board, and the hive body which holds the frames. Frames, where the bees raise their young and build honeycombs, come ready-to-assemble in most kits. They consist of a wooden frame and a wax or plastic "foundation" sheet to which the bees attach the comb. Does this Spark an idea?

Put a dab of glue on the ends of the bottom frame piece and connect it to the two end pieces.

Drive nails into the top bar on each end, in a similar fashion as on the bottom pieces. Complete the frame by driving nails through the end pieces into the shoulders of the top bar.
