How to Restore a DBF File
A DBF file is commonly used in database management and can be accessed through Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Access. DBF files can be transferred from your PC's hard drive to another storage device, like a pen drive. During data transfer, it is possible to lose DBF files. If this happens, programs are available for download or purchase to restore the files to your computer.

Download the freeware data-recovery program EASEUS from the Internet, and run it on your PC. Once the program wizard appears, choose the drive where your DBF files are stored. If they are stored on a portable storage device, plug it into the appropriate USB slot. EASEUS will display a list of deleted files. Select the DBF files you want, then click "Restore."
